Modus Ponens Analytics ApS (“MPA”, “we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your personal data and processing it in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”) and applicable Danish data protection legislation.

2. What Personal Data We Collect

We collect personal data only when you voluntarily submit it through our contact form. The data collected includes:

  • Full name — to address you correctly
  • Organisation name — to understand the context of your inquiry
  • Email address — to respond to your inquiry
  • Message content — to process your request

Our hosting provider (Hetzner, Helsinki, Finland) also collects standard server access logs, including IP addresses and browser information, as part of normal website operation.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis

Contact form data

Purpose: To respond to your inquiry and, if relevant, enter into a service agreement.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — processing is necessary for steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries.

Server access logs

Purpose: Security monitoring and website performance.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in maintaining a secure and functioning website.

4. Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for up to two years after the inquiry is resolved, or for the duration of any resulting engagement plus two years, whichever is longer.

Server access logs are retained for 30 days in accordance with Hetzner's standard data retention policy.

We delete or anonymise personal data when it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

5. Recipients and Data Processors

We use the following third-party processors, all of whom have agreed to process data only on our documented instructions:

Resend (EU region)

Email delivery service used to route contact form submissions to our inbox. Data is processed within the EU.

Hetzner (Helsinki, Finland)

Website hosting provider. Server access logs are retained on EU infrastructure.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

6. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

  • Right of access (Art. 15) — request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16) — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17) — request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations
  • Right to restriction (Art. 18) — request that we limit processing of your data
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20) — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Right to object (Art. 21) — object to processing based on legitimate interests

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.dk.
